Excellent Photovoltaic system Installer training arranged by Institute of Solar Technology

The sun provides a tremendous resource for generating clean and sustainable electricity without toxic pollution or global warming emissions. The potential environmental impacts associated with solar power — land use and habitat loss, water use, and the use of hazardous materials in manufacturing — can vary greatly depending on the technology, which includes two broad categories: photovoltaic (PV) solar cell.

At least as important as the place of manufacturing is the place of installation. Almost all LCAs -- including the one that deals with manufacturing in China -- assume a solar insolation of 1,700 kilowatt-hour per square meter per year (kWh/m2/yr), typical of Southern Europe and the southwestern USA. If solar modules manufactured in China are installed in Germany, then the carbon footprint increases to about 120 gCO2e/kWh for both mono- and multi-si -- which makes solar PV only 3.75 times less carbon-intensive than natural gas, not 15 times.
In India, Institute of Solar Technology offer solar PV system installation hands-on practical training. Students start his/her own business. Institute of Solar Technology (IST) get global reputation and students from all over India within a short period of last 3 years. IST develop course module with the help of national and international adviser and partners.

Sanjib Roy, Director of IST said, "IST takes classroom training for those who have never experienced PV Solar system. Each course offers multiple content types from audio-video to practical class."

Howrah, India, December 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Mr. Roy said “Solar professionals and people seeking entry into the solar PV industry, they want to get their required training. IST arranges complete classroom, lecture based training in order to be able to hands-on practical works. These courses fulfill that requirement. Participants receive the fundamental knowledge and skills for becoming part of the solar energy workforce. The course covers the principles of solar photovoltaics, electrical theory, essential design considerations, basic installation, and performance factors. It also provides a unique opportunity for real-life experience installing a residential system. Textbook, course materials and 2 days of hands on installation supplied with the cost of the course.”

Mr. Roy discuses the courses offered by IST. You can visit the IST site for course details.

Institute of Solar Technology Launch Free E-Course on Solar Technology

"Institute of Solar Technology launch Free E-course on Solar Technology from 7th November, 2013 celebrated CV Raman's 125th birthday - The Power is in Your Hands for children. IST supports Solar Energy education through educational online content," said director of IST Mr. S. Roy.

Howrah, India, December 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- "Because of a growing interest in renewable energy and the increasingly competitive prices of alternative energy sources, solar power has received a lot of attention over the past several years. However, solar power generation itself is not new, it has been used for more than half a century, mostly on a small scale or for specialized purposes, such as generating electricity for spacecraft and satellites or for use in remote areas," said Mr. Sudip Sarkar, Guest Lecturer of IST, Founder & CEO of Utzsho Industries.

Mr. Soumen Ghosh, Guest Lecturer of IST, Founder & CEO of Souro Sathi
describe the Course contents of - "The Power Is In Your Hands."

He said, "This curriculum provides energy efficiency and green roofs
lessons to be integrated into high school science courses."

Institute of Solar Technology Launches Solar Power Training for Youth

"With globalization around and job potential reducing, unemployment is one of the major problems in India. On the other hand there is huge untapped potential for solar energy utilization at all levels," said Mr. S. Roy, Director of Institute of Solar Technology. IST appeals all unemployed youth to use their energy for self employment in the field of renewable energy. This will give the satisfaction of serving mother earth through eco-friendly technology.

Howrah, India, November 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- "Three important benefits are technical,
financial and social back-up systems of Institute of Solar Technology training program,"
said Mr. A. Naskar, President of Shyamsundar Child and Women Development Society.

Mr. Naskar describes:
1. Technical training of rural youth to assemble, repair and maintain the rooftop solar units.
2. Institute of Solar Technology will train the youth of low-income families to become solar
technicians. These youth technicians will be establishment of a rural Green Shop, Green
Club in remote areas and thus a valuable resource for solar companies interested in
expanding into the most remote areas of India.
Youth solar technicians will:
i) They will learn to assess the buyer’s needs and recommend the appropriate system size.
ii) Assist energy vendors by providing on-site diagnostics of downed systems. This will save the
vendor the time and money sending a technician from the city.
iii) Be able to determine if people have misused their system and advise them on
better usage and maintenance strategies
iv) Troubleshoot their own community member's solar systems and generate income by selling
their new skills
v) Serve as paid consultants for energy vendors.

3. Reduce your carbon footprint. Solar electric systems operate without emissions and are
environmentally friendly.

Mr. Roy said, "Today's youth need to understand energy in order to wisely power their homes,
their society and their careers."

Candidate can contact at IST Campus at Panchla, Howrah, West Bengal.

During the training, young scouts will learn how solar power works, how solar panels
themselves work, and how to install the panels. The course is set up to empower young
people with skills and knowledge of solar energy, and to communicate the growing need for
renewable energy solutions. Visit their web site for more information on their services.
